Florida Georgia Line Background
Brian Kelley (pictured top left) is from Ormond Beach, Florida and Tyler Hubbard (pictured top right) is from Monroe, Georgia (Florida). These boys met while attending Belmont University. The two formed Florida Georgia Line in Nashville, Tennessee in 2010 (Harmonic). They get their name from the obvious fact that one of them is from Florida and the other one is from Georgia and the two states boarder each other. The country duo signed their first deal with Big Loud Mountain, a three man partnership, in December of 2011.They are currently signed with Republic Nashville whom they signed with on July 16, 2012. They have performed with many other big names in country music and have just recently released their second album Anything Goes (Florida). |
Peter Paul and Mary Background
Band members Peter Yarrow, Paul Stooky and Mary Travers formed in 1961. The trio originated from New York City. They were a folk band that performed for nearly 50 years. The group broke up for about eight years to pursue solo careers, but were later reunited. Mary Travers passed away in 2009 and Peter and Paul continued to perform, but are no longer active (Peter). |
